Out of all his various disciplines, Ron Meerbeek has been consistently making cartoons the longest.
And even though he is officially retired from the grubby world of the visual arts, he still takes time out to indulge in this guilty pleasure, so don’t be surprised to see the occasional new work being unveiled.
But for now, pretty much everything he has ever done is included here, from the numerous career-spanning, single-page, pen and ink drawings, to his many strip comics - from the very first one done in 1983 for the now defunct Crowd magazine to a brand spanking new cartoon soon to appear in the Dutch conceptual magazine, The Everything.
So why not spend a few minutes delving deeper into the monochrome mind of Ron Meerbeek.
Laugh if you like, snigger if you must, but at the very least, you’ll be guaranteed a smile!
